End of the Year Scraps Pt. 3

Just a giant collection of scrap sketches that I've drawn throughout 2010!

I thought that maybe they'd be kind of interesting to look at, since they show the artistic progress that I've made throughout all last year. ^^

Well, in this collection, I've put all the scrapped/unfinished sketches that I've drawn of my friends' Sonic Fan Characters! ^^

The first couple sketches are of ~ASB-Fan's Natasha the Hedgehog - the very first sketches I've drawn of her!
... Which is why she looks completely stupid... XD

Lessee.. We've got Nata looking up, Nata using her Firey powers, Nata's hand, the small image that I used for Nata's Sprite Banner, and a flame-like version of Nata's hair, which is left over from my contest entry a few months back. ^^

Right under that hair, we have an unfinished dsketch of ~ASB-Fan's Point the Hedgehog - it was supposed to be part of a Birthday gift for her, but I never finished it... T.T
Then we have Point fighting a base - scrapped because I didn't know why I was drawing Point in a fight, in the first place. o.o
... The base was supposed to be Natasha, I think...
... Which I realized would make no sense...

In the second row, we have another of ~ASB-Fan's characters - Sugar Apple! ^^
... This picture was supposed to be the second part of her birthday gift...
She had made an apple pie, just for you, Chantal...

Speaking of unfinished Birthday gifts, the picture right next to SA was supposed to be one of my dear friend =Amalika's gifts - a picture of her character Amalika Ea the Raccoon...
... I suck for not finishing all these gifts on time - or at all... TT.TT

... Anyway, the next sketch was my very first attempt at drawing Amalika...
... It really fails to capture her cuteness... XD
We also have two different concept images of Amalika setting up a Christmas Tree - and my very first attempt at drawing her Best Friend, Lucky!
And, right next to that last image of Amalika in a dress concept that I had made, are a couple practice drawings of her brother's head - Sinistra Ea the Raccoon!

After that are a couple failed attempts at drawing =deepBlueskies's character, Rosa the Jackrabbit.
The first one is supposed to be her wearing Sammy's clothes, and the second one is my first ever attempt at drawing her! XD
... I'm sorry she looks so bad, Deep Blue...

Now, for the last row...
... These first three images really depress me, because they're all supposed to be part of my second Birthday gift for =Amalika, of her almost-unknown character, Pain...

The first two pictures are concepts of Pain in an outfit, different from her normal one, while the third picture is the actual gift that I was planning on giving her...

It's even a completed sketch, too!
... But, I've hardly even started on coloring this picture in GiMP - which is why the gift is now considered to be scrapped...

... I knew that you were working on changing Pain into a male character, Ammy...
... But I still wanted to show you how much I appreciated the female Pain, with this gift...

... Anywho, I guess this brings us to the final image - a concept drawing for an entry for =deepBlueskies's most recent Contest - the original image of Rosa giving Sammy a kiss on the cheek. ^^

It was scrapped because I finally wondered why the hell I was drawing Rosa as a waitress, when she wasn't one...
... At least, I don't think she is... Is she?

... Well, either way, the concept came out pretty ugly, anyway... XD

This has been the third and final collection of all the scraps that I've drawn in 2010. I hope you had a some fun browsing through all these scraps - a lot of them looked pretty stupid, didn't they?
